In particular, let's talk about this short person...

People Who know me know that I'm a huge Knick fan, live and die, me oh my. I was born two weeks after the last time the team won a championship, you'd think I'd get the hint by now, but I haven't. I love the Knicks, even when I hated the players, I loved the team.

This kid, though, here to the left, this kid is for real...

Its been a long time since any New York team had a national-polarizing figure that they liked. Farve—bad idea, Marbury—worse idea, Messier—sure, but its hockey and nobody watches hockey, Mookie, Reggie—again, sure but you have to be a fan of the team, A-Rod—fuck him. 

But Nate the Great—KryptoNate, now this kid has a shot...

Firstly, for those who are unaware, Nate Robinson is a 5'-9" basketball shooting guard for the New York Knicks, spelled out for you. Now, knowing what I know about basketball, if they are listing a player at 5'-9" he's probably 5'-7". Go check youtube and take a look at number of his dunks and highlight reel dribble-drives, go check him on youtube blocking 7'-6" Yao Ming's shot—the dude is a torso smaller than Ming, but he found a way to block his shot...WITH TWO HANDS!!...

Point is, get your #4 jersey, New York. Get into this kid, because as for personality, style, and talent you're not going to get any better. He will be the king of the city, if he isn't already. He along with a nice young core of players including David Lee, Wilson Chandler and Chris Duhon, this team doesn't need Lebron in a year and half, and he ain't coming anyway. This core along with some crafty draft picks and well place low level free agency signings will win an NBA title in the course of the next 2-4 years. Sure, that's still a bit away, but really, if I can wait 35 years, I can wait another 2-4 years, and so can you...

I know, I know, 'I don't like basketball, tw,'...

Well, do like Will Ferrell?, because Will Ferrell likes basketball, and in particular he likes Nate Robinson. Ipso facto if you like Will Ferrell then you like Nate Robinson, and there you go. You love the Knicks and you love #4, get up on in this bandwagon, we got a star up in here...

The Knicks lost last night, they lost to one of the top 5 teams in the NBA. That's going to happen, and when you have a guy like Dwight Howard, a 7'-0 wonderkind, you tend to win a lot of games. Go check out youtube and watch Nate the Great dunk over the same Dwight Howard...
