journey to the center of the earth...

so i heard it was mighty cold here the last couple of weeks...

yeah, sorry about that, i had to get out of town for a bit. The burden of the constellation can be trying and the path arduous. To properly maintain a hue of sanity i need to recoil from time to time. i didn't mean to take the more seasonable weather with me for my journey but it happens. i've never been accused of taking air out of a room but there is a first time for everything. Most of all i missed the Cat Mom, so i jumped a flight way out west, and took a little vacation...

your regular holiday fare...
staring at big holes in the ground...
a little night-life...
some reflection and relaxation...
and hanging with Maxwell Edison and his boys; Captain Orange and Gramps...
something this vast and random is not to be underestimated—the constellation, not the Canyon, but in fairness, the Grand Canyon is worth the trip if for nothing more than the challenging drive up I-17 if you are coming from the Tucson/Phoenix area. That humble feeling you get from standing at the edge of certain death, well, that's just icing on the cake...

but i have returned from my sojourn refreshed and alive to find out that Jay Leno is trying to muscle NBC into paying more for less, leaving Conan O'Brien cast from his rightful place, the Jets have a big game ahead of them this weekend, Carlos Beltran went rogue on the Mets while Sarah Palin went on FOX News as a talking head—how unrogue. Haiti, like they needed more bad wei, was pummeled by an extraordinary turn of celestial events...

i was able to solve the energy crisis and even took a couple of yoga classes. i saw another awe-inspiring work from Terry Gilliam by the title of the 'Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassass' and caught the reemergence of Guy Richie via 'Sherlock Holmes.' i may get to all of it, i may not, but until then, namaste motherfuckers...

i see my return ushered in some warmer weather...

saving lives since 1973, you're welcome...
