in the evening—the remix...

lacking the reserves of inspiration once again, i find myself pensive on this cool Autumn night. The excitement has come to an end—families have been intermingled, good folks have been made one and now the constellation is population 1 again...

the cat mom has touched down in the valley of the sun as i write. My phantom limb returns. When we first began writing each other almost a year ago, i commented to her that i would have pretendy dates with her while eating out alone amongst my travels. She has coined the phrase guerrilla courting when discussing our visits with each other and for now that's what it is. i can say that every moment has lived up to its billing and we have received rave reviews from friends on appearances together. When its right its right...

the cat mom has been an unparalleled source of motivation to shift gears and focus on writing, and completing something. its just that times like these, when the apartment looks empty, it appears as if the well has gone dry...

another long stretch of days without the touch of my kitten, back to the grind, I suppose...
